Lang Lang and Friends concert at Carnegie Hall

The international megastar pianist Lang Lang will give a special one-night only concert, hosted by Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award-winning entertainer Alec Baldwin, at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, October 30 at 6:30PM. He will offer solo piano works by Frederic Chopin which are featured on his new Sony Classical recording “The Chopin Album,” out in October. Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell will join Lang Lang for the very first time in the beautiful Grieg Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 3 in C minor. Grammy and Tony Award-winning jazz legend Dee Dee Bridgewater will sing Broadway hits and Danish pop diva Oh Land will perform a special vocal arrangement of Chopin’s Tristesse. Other surprise star performers will make special guest appearances in this red carpet event, along with six child prodigies supported by the Foundation in their piano studies. The concert will be followed by a gala dinner with all proceeds going to benefit the Lang Lang International Music Foundation.
