Are you the next Lang Lang? - Global Lang Allianz Junior Music Camp 2015

Allianz and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation share a common vision - to inspire the next generation of classical musicians and pass on their passion of music.

After being held in Munich and Barcelona, the third edition of the Allianz Junior Music Camp will take place in Vienna from November 18 to 24, 2015. The camp provides an outstanding opportunity for ten young talented pianists from around the globe to perform music together and meet and work with world-acclaimed pianist Lang Lang.

“Observing a new generation of music ambassadors, kids playing together, sharing their common passion and spreading the message of the power of music to a wider audience makes me feel very optimistic about the future of the piano world”, says Lang Lang.

The 3rd Allianz Junior Music Camp will comprise solo piano lessons with teachers from the renowned Youth Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich as well as cultural activities in and around Vienna. The highlight of the Camp will be a public Masterclass with Lang Lang at “Wiener Musikverein”, one of the world’s most distinguished concert halls.

The application process is now officially open. Applicants are asked to submit two short videos for evaluation. More details about the program and the application process can be found at www.langlangfoundation.org.

Joseph K. Gross, Global Head of Group Market Management of Allianz SE: “Empowerment of youth is part of our social responsibility. Through the partnership with the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, Allianz is able to inspire the next generation of classical music lovers and support young talents in their musical development.”

“Following the success of our Music Camps in Munich and Barcelona, I am very happy to present this program in Vienna. I look forward to igniting a passion for music in our youth, so they will be the future leaders to bridge cultural gaps. We are very excited to continue our collaboration with Allianz as they are so instrumental in the success of the Junior Music Camp”, - says Leszek Lukas Barwinski, Executive Director of Lang Lang International Music Foundation.

This year’s Allianz Junior Music Camp will be held in cooperation with the ‘Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien’ who supplies audition space as well as the concert hall for the Masterclass with Lang Lang. Additional support will be provided by ‘Haus der Musik’ Wien.
