My Week With Marilyn

The score for My Week With Marilyn, composed and conducted by Conrad Pope, conjures up the mood and the sounds of the mid-1950's and transports the listener back to a bygone age. The soundtrack also features "Marilyn's Theme" composed by Academy Award Nominee Alexandre Desplat (The King's Speech, The Queen) and Academy Award Nominee Michelle Williams (who stars as Marilyn Monroe in the film) singing "That Old Black Magic" and a medley of "When Love Goes Wrong" and "Heatwave". Music performed by pianist Lang Lang, "The hottest artist on the classical musical planet" (New York Times), is featured throughout the movie.
